Swedish agent Patrick Mörk and Hammarby IF have been severely punished in connection with a previous deal in which current FCK player Akinkunmi Amoo switched from Sidos FC to the Stockholm club.

The young Nigerian had impressed a lot for his Swedish club Hammarby, which made FC Copenhagen strike.

It writes Aftonbladet.

When Amoo switched from the Nigerian club Sidos FC in 2020, Hammarby paid an invalid compensation to middleman Patrick Mörk, whose primary work in connection with the Amoo transfer had taken place when the player was a minor.

Thus, Hammarby and Patrick Mörk broke the international transfer rules.

Hard punishments
Hammarby may end up having to pay a fine of 350,000 Swedish kroner, equivalent to just over a quarter of a million Danish kroner.

The high fine comes on the grounds that Hammarby has paid Patrick Mörk to have the transfer of the then minor Amoo completed, which is illegal.

The harshest punishment, however, goes to Patrick Mörk, who is being barred from doing agent work for an entire year.

In addition, Mörk has also received unknown amounts from Hammarby based on Amoo’s performance for the club.

This will also be hit hard, and depending on how Amoo’s performance is assessed by the Swedish Football Association, Aftonbladet estimates that the fine may end up in an amount between 370,000 – 700,000 kroner.

The young Nigerian had impressed a lot for his Swedish club Hammarby, which made FC Copenhagen strike.

The current leading team in the Super League, however, had to pay for the 19-year-old great talent, who was brought to the capital club for as much as 33 million kroner in January.
