Kecmanović was defeated in the quarterfinals of the Masters in Indian Wells

Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanović did not manage to place in the semifinals of the Masters in Indian Wells, as he was defeated tonight by the American Taylor Fritz with 6: 7, 6: 3, 1: 6.

The match between Kecmanović and Fric, the 61st and 20th tennis players in the world, lasted an hour and 58 minutes.

Both tennis players kept their serves in the first set, so the first part of the game was decided in a tie-break. The American opened the tie-break better and took the lead with 1: 5, and in the end he celebrated with 5: 7.

Kecmanović managed to break in the second set in the eighth game, and then used the third set ball in the next game.

In the third set, Fritz made two breaks, and the Serbian tennis player won only one game.

In the continuation of the tournament, Fritz will try to become the first American after Andrea Agassi from 2001, who won the Masters in California.

His opponent in the semifinals is the seventh tennis player in the world, Russian Andrei Rublev.
