Serbian athlete Asmir Kolasinac took 11th place today at the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, while Brazilian Darlan Romani won gold. Kolasinac threw the ball 20.64 meters, and failed to win the right to three additional attempts.

“I have to admit that I am not satisfied. I felt great, I was very ready. I went easy in the first series, but the competition lasts a very long time. I waited for half an hour for the second series, and the adrenaline dropped and I made a lot of mistakes. “Kolasinac said in the Belgrade arena.

“I’m sorry for the audience. I could have been in the top eight, but let’s move on, I still have a lot of competition ahead of me. It’s an honor to perform for our country,” he added.

Brazilian Darlan Romani made a surprise and reached the gold medal, leaving behind the American Ryan Krauser, who has not lost a single competition for more than two and a half years.

Romani reached the gold with a shot of 22.53 meters, while Krauser with a length of 22.44 had to settle for bronze.

Third place went to New Zealander Thomas Walsh with a shot of 22.31 meters.
