For the first time in the history of the Israeli delegation at the Olympic Games, today (Tuesday) Israel takes part in the cycling industry at the Olympics. After the fiasco of one of the team members, Daniel Blumen, who was disqualified from participating in the games because his mare was not registered as an Israeli at the time, four Israeli riders will try to surprise and show their ability. For three of the four, it will be their first ever appearance at the Olympics (Alberto Mashen has previously represented Mexico).
Ashley Bond The American, who represents Israel, managed to reach the final with a time of 82.84 and was one of the first to secure their first 30-year place.
Teddy and Luke, Who has recorded some impressive results in the Grand Prix competitions in the past year, also took part in the competition with his horse Amsterdam, but finished in a time of 95.74 seconds and accumulated six penalties, a result that is not enough to qualify for the finals.
The most decorated rider in the expedition is Alberto leans, Who as mentioned previously represented Mexico at the London 2012 Olympics. He holds two silver medals in the Central American and Caribbean Games, and once won the gold medal in this competition. In 2016 he immigrated to Israel and after two years received permission to represent the team.
