Behind them are the English football player Alain Shearer with seven goals, while Antoine Griezmann, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney, Nuno Gomes, Thierry Henry, Patrick Clayvert, Rudd Van Nistelrooy scored six goals each.
Dragan Dzajic, Savo Milosevic and Milan Galic are also on the list of players with five goals scored at the European Championships.
In addition to being the top scorer, Ronaldo is also the player with the most appearances at the European Championships.
He has played 21 games so far, followed by German Bastian Schweinsteiger (18) and Djanluidji Buffon (17).
They are followed by Cesc Fabregas, Andres Iniesta, Lillian Thuram and Edwin van der Sar with 16 appearances each.
The Czech Karel Poborski (8) recorded the most assists at the European Championships, followed by Ronaldo (6). Cesc Fabregas, Schweinsteiger, Arjen Robben, Luis Figo and David Beckham each recorded five assists.
Ronaldo is also the player with the most minutes played in 1,793. The second place is taken by Buffon (1,620), while the third is Van der Sar (1,504).
