Bologna is ready to extend the contract with Mihajlović
The Bologna football club is ready to extend the contract with Siniša Mihajlović for another year, after the news that the Serbian coach is suffering from leukemia again. He originally fell ill in 2019, and after three cycles of therapy and a bone marrow transplant, the 53-year-old coach recovered.

As Corriere dello Sport reported, the president of Bologna, Joey Sauputo, and the executive director, Claudio Fenucci, are ready to extend his contract with Mihajlović for another year, so the coach would stay at the club until 2024.

As it is stated, Mihajlović has impressed the management in the last three years since he has been in the club, and they want to support him and express trust with the new contract.

Mihajlović will miss several games, and he will be replaced by assistant Miroslav Tanjga.
