The last time Rafael Nadal was left out of the top three in the world was in May 2017, but everything has an end. Today (Monday) the new ATP ranking was published with “Bull from Mallorca” ranked only fourth, following the relegation from the Washington tournament already in the quarterfinals.

The one who overtook the 35.year.old Nadal and is now ranked third after Novak Djokovic and Danil Medvedev is the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas. In fifth place are the new Olympic champion Alexander Zebrav, Dominic Tim in sixth place, Andrei Rublev in seventh, Matteo Brantini in eighth and Roger Federer only in ninth place. The top ten is closed by Dennis Shapovalov of Canada, a native of Tel Aviv.
