Aston Martin driver Sebastian Vettel has recovered from the crown virus and will take part in the race for the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, his team announced today.
“We are pleased to confirm that Sebastian Vettel is now ready to race and will be next to Lance Stroll in Melbourne, where he will start this season,” Aston Martin stated on social media.
Four-time world champion Vettel missed the first two races of the championship, in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, due to the corona virus.
He was replaced by Niko Hulkenberg.
The third race in the championship, for the Australian Grand Prix, is scheduled for April 10 at 7 am Central European Time in Melbourne.
