Former DBU boss presented in South Africa – Ekstra Bladet

On Friday, Flemming Berg had his last working day as talent development manager in the Danish Boldspil-Union (DBU).

On Monday, he has instead been introduced as the new sports director of South African Mamelodi Sundowns.

As early as February, it emerged that Berg would leave the DBU job in favor of a role as sporting director of an international club.

Ekstra Bladet could then tell that it was the South African club.

– Danish talent development is right now on a solid foundation in both club and national team. We perform at an unprecedentedly high level. We play football that creates results and excites, he said on that occasion.

– We have talented people around the youth national teams, both in terms of coaching staff and staff members.

– There are no limits to our opportunities if we continue to develop and invest, it sounded from the talent development manager.
