The Manchester United players started the new season in the Premier League with a victory, as they were better than Leeds at home today with a convincing 5: 1.

Three goals at the crowded Old Trafford were scored by Bruno Fernandes, in the 30th and 54th and 60th minutes, and Mason Greenwood scored in the 52nd and Fred in the 68th minute. The only goal scorer for Leeds was Luke Eyling in the 48th minute.

Only one goal was seen in the first half, although there were several opportunities, and it was scored by Fernandes in the 30th minute, after Pogba’s first assist in the game.

After only three minutes of the game, Ailing equalized the score with a shot from about 25 meters, but that seemed to anger the home players, who “filled” the visiting team’s net by the end of the match.

First, Greenwood used another great Pogba passer in the 52nd minute, and Fernandes did the same after only a minute and 15 seconds.

The Portuguese sent the ball under the crossbar of Leeds’ goal for 4: 1 in the 60th minute, and Fred put an end to this match in the 68th minute after another assist from the moody Pogba.

Fernandes is the first United player to score a hat-trick in the first round since Luo Macari in the 1977/78 season, while Pogba became the seventh player in the history of the Premier League to record four assists in one match. He recorded three assists in 26 league matches last season.

Serbian football player Nemanja Matić played for United from the 69th minute.

The Manchester United players will visit Southampton in the second round, while Leeds will meet Everton.
