Legendary German football player Gerd Miller died today at the age of 76, Bayern Munich announced.

“Our world has stopped today,” it is stated in the announcement of Bayern, the club for which Miller played for a full 15 seasons.

During his rich playing career, Miller scored 566 goals in 607 games for Bayern.

He was equally successful in the German national team, for which he scored 62 goals in 68 matches.

He won numerous club trophies, as well as the world and European championship with the national team.
