Paris 2024 Olympic Games: Antoine Dupont will carry the Olympic flame this Friday in Toulouse

He also joins the long list of stars designated to carry the Olympic flame. This Friday, Antoine Dupont will participate in the Olympic relay in Toulouse, as Paris 2024 announced this Tuesday in a press release.

“The French international from Stade Toulouse and elected best player in the World Rugby world in 2021 will also carry the Olympic flame on Friday May 17 on stage 9.” Other rugby figures will also carry the torch that day, like Vincent Clerc, Maxime Médard, or Émile Ntamack.

Dupont will light the cauldron

The latter’s son, Romain Ntamack, opener at Stade Toulouse, will also be there. Other personalities will carry the flame to Toulouse, such as former handball player Nodjialem Myaro or influencer Tibo InShape. At the end of the day, Antoine Dupont will light the cauldron and not Romain Ntamack as we previously indicated.

The Stade Toulouse scrum half should himself participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with the French rugby sevens team. He notably gave up participating in the last Six Nations Tournament with the French XV in order to join the septist national team, and to find a place in this group.
