Fury knocked out White and defended his WBC championship belt

Tonight, the British bosker Tyson Fury defended the title of world heavyweight champion in the WBC version, after he defeated his compatriot Dilian White in the sixth round by knockout in London.

In front of 94,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium in London, Fury was better than his opponent during the match, and in the last sixth round he knocked him down with an uppercut.

After the match, Fury announced that he would end his career.

“I promised my wife that it would be over after (Dionteus) Wilder, but they offered me a match at Wembley and I was indebted to the fans. I am a man of my word. This could be the last fight of the Gypsy King and in what way,” he said. Fury.

“Dillian White is a warrior and I believe he will be a world champion. He is strong as a bull and has the heart of a lion, but tonight he met a great sportsman, one of the best heavyweights of all time. I think even Lennox Lewis would be proud of this uppercut.” added Fury.

Fury is still undefeated, he has 32 wins and one draw in 33 matches.
