It’s no secret that Manchester United are in crisis and there is no prospect of it ending just yet.

Former Manchester United legend Paul Scholes could not help but involve the whole world in his conversation with Jesse Lingard, which took place a few days before the Arsenal match on Saturday, in which Unitede lost 1-3.

– It’s a big mess.

– It’s a disaster in the locker room. I had a short talk with Jesse Lingard the other day and I’m sure he does not mind me saying the locker room is a disaster, Paul Scholes said according to the Independent.

United coach Ralf Rangnick would not respond directly to Scholes’ statements after the match when asked about it at a press conference.

“I do not know, you must ask Jesse Lingard if you have this information,” he said.

– There is of course a big disappointment after a match like this and the matches against Liverpool and Everton. I think the whole team is getting along fine with each other. I do not see there a problem with the atmosphere in the locker room.

Admittedly, there must be some frustration among the United players, and Bruno Fernandes’ missed penalty kick has certainly not given him more confidence.

Cristiano Ronaldo is usually always on the verge of taking a penalty kick, but this time he handed it over to his Portuguese national team mate without protest.

– They are both penalty shooters. Cristiano told me after the match that he did not feel fresh enough to take it and that is why Bruno did it, said Ralf Rangnick.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

A tragedy that meant he was not with Liverpool on Tuesday either.

On Thursday, United will try to find redress when they face Chelsea in the Premier League.
