The Celtics were led by Jason Tatum with 29 points, five assists and three rebounds, Jalen Brown scored 22 points with eight rebounds, and Marcus Smart scored 20 points and 11 assists. Grant Williams added 14 points and Al Horford 13 points and six rebounds.
Kevin Durant was the most efficient in the Brooklyn team with 39 points, with nine assists and seven rebounds. He was eliminated from the playoffs for the first time in the first round since 2010 when he played for Oklahoma.
Set Curry scored 23 points, Kyrie Irving 20 points, five rebounds and five assists, and Goran Dragic 10 points, with eight rebounds and four assists for the Nets.
Less than three minutes before the end of the game, the Celtics were left without Tatum, who received his fifth personal foul. The Nets used that to get closer to 108: 109, but they didn’t succeed more than that, so they lost the series 0: 4.
