There were no league qualifiers, and KyKy was given the right to apply for a league seat.

“It’s great to get a new place and club community to join the Champions League. Kyyjärvi’s Ability has worked really long and faithfully to develop the club to the league level,” commented Riia Martinoja, the leader of the Champions League, in the press release.

Middle Finland In the Kyyjärvi sports hall located in Helsinki, you can play regular season home games next season with an exception. The hall is not high enough for the league.

Kyyjärvi has only 1,200 inhabitants and will probably become the smallest place in Finland where the main series of ball games has been played.

Kyky comfortably gathered 278 spectators, ie almost every fourth resident of the municipality.
