Today, the representative of Serbia, Zeljko Dimitrijevic, won a silver medal in the shot put in the F51 class at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
Dimitrijevic won bronze with a result of 35 meters and 29 centimeters from the sixth series, which is his new personal record.
He threw another 34.20 meters, 33.09, 34.95 meters, 35.21 and 33.03 meters.
Russian competitor Musa Tajmazov won the gold medal with a new world record of 35.42 meters.
Slovak competitor Marjan Kužeja won bronze from 30.66 meters.
Dimitrijevic won the third medal for Serbia at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, after earlier today the scorer Dragan Ristic won gold, and the table tennis players Borislava Peric Rankovic and Nada Matic won bronze in the team competition.
