Tonight, the volleyball players of Serbia advanced to the semifinals of the European Championship, defeating the selection of France in Belgrade with 3: 1 (22:25, 25:18, 25: 7, 25:20). Tijana Bošković scored the most points in the winning selection, while Milena Rasic scored 13 and Mina Popovic nine points.

Ameli Rotar had the best performance in the French national team with 15 points, while Lucy Gichel scored nine points.

Throughout the first set, the selection of France was in the lead, leading on several occasions with a five.point advantage.

In the continuation of the match, Serbia played better, the second set of the current European champions won 25:18, while the next set was won with a convincing result.

In the fourth part of the game, Serbia was a better rival, so it managed to secure a place among the four best national teams.

The opponent in the semifinals, which is scheduled for Friday, in Belgrade, will be the selection of Turkey.

The national teams of Italy and the Netherlands will play in the second semifinal.

Before the match, the Serbian volleyball player Maja Ognjenović was handed a framed jersey with the number 300, on the occasion of her jubilee match for the national team.
