The Memphis basketball players won last night at their Golden State field with 134: 95, and thus reduced it to 3: 2 in the semifinals of the Western Conference of the NBA League.

Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Thais Jones scored 21 points each for the home team.

Jones also recorded nine assists in his team’s victory, while Jackson recorded eight rebounds.

For the second time in a row, their best player Ja Morant did not play for Memphis due to a knee injury.

Clay Thompson scored 19 points for Golden State, Jonathan Cuminga added 17, and Stephen Curry scored 14 points.

Serbian basketball player Nemanja Bjelica scored five points, three rebounds and two assists in the defeated team.

Memphis led from the beginning to the end of the match, and at half time they left with a 77:50 advantage. That is also the highest number of points in the history of that franchise at half time.

Then they continued to increase the lead, and at one point in the third quarter the difference was plus 55 (119: 64).

The team from California only managed to mitigate the defeat until the end. The series moves to San Francisco, and the sixth match is played on the night between Friday and Saturday.

Milwaukee beat Boston 110: 107 on the road, and the current champions are now leading 3: 2 in the semifinal series of the East.

Greek basketball player Yannis Adetokunbo achieved a double-double performance of 40 points and 11 rebounds for the guests, Jrou Holliday scored 24 points, with eight assists and rebounds, and Bobby Portis reached the double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Jason Tatum scored 34 points in the defeated team, with six rebounds and four assists, Jalen Brown added 26 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while Marcus Smart scored 15 points.

Boston led with 93:79 at the beginning of the last section, and then the Milwaukee team played better. The guests equalized with Holliday’s “triple” (105: 105), 43 seconds before the end.

Boston gained a new advantage after Tatum’s free throws, and Milwaukee gained the first advantage after the second quarter, after a jump in the attack of Portis (108: 107).

In the next two attacks of Boston, Smart was first blocked by Holliday, and then the same player stole the ball from him.

This was the third break in the series, and the second was Milwaukee. The sixth match is played in Milwaukee on the night between Friday and Saturday.
