Samsung’s partnership with Pokémon extends to the Galaxy Buds 2 with a ‘Poké Ball’ case

Samsung has released a pack for its Galaxy Buds 2 that includes a charging cover in the style of a ‘Poké Ball,’ a sticker, and the brand’s own headphones, continuing its partnership with Pokémon that began with the Galaxy Z Flip3.

The company is coming off of releasing its own Pokédex, a portable encyclopedia for Pokémon trainers, in the form of a Galaxy Z Flip3 based on the series. Samsung has now added this motif to its Galaxy Buds 2 in its Korean online store.

The kit comprises the Galaxy Buds 2 earphones, a charging case shaped like a ‘Poké Ball’ that opens when you push the button, and a holographic sticker of one of the various creatures: Pikachu, Bulbasur, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Ditto, Dragonite, Lapras, Eevee, Gengar, or Mew.

The headphone case’s interior comes in a variety of hues, including black, white, lavender, graphite, and olive. As specified by the South Korean, said case can be adorned with the sticker that is offered at random.

According to the Maeil Economic Daily, which underlines the limited edition nature of this product, it is unknown if it will exit Korea. Its online store sold out in less than 20 minutes. In any case, it costs 134,000 won, which is around 100 euros at current currency rates.
