Birds Alone, Cats in Time y Gumslinger have become Top three Android games from indie developers of 2021 for the European market, chosen within the framework of Google’s ‘Indie Games Festival’, from the Play Store.

‘Indie Games Festival’ is an annual event open to anyone or studio that has created a video game for Android. This year’s edition has shown this Saturday the 20 finalists in a digital event, from which they have been chosen the three winners and seven other top finalists.

Selection for the European market includes titles from 16 countries and of all genres, although only three have stood on the podium: Birds Alone (United Kingdom), which encourages the player to befriend the “loneliest bird in the world”; Cats in Time (Croatia), full of puzzles to find the lost cats traveling through space and time; Gumslinger (Sweden), a ‘shooter’ against gelatin characters.

The list of the top ten finals is completed with Beat Workers (Francia), Figment (Dinamarca), Froglike: The Frog Roguelike (Israel), Lyxo (Austria), Psychofunk (Noruega), Sticky Terms (Alemania) y Unholy Adventure (Polonia).

In the list of games that have reached the final event you will find a Spanish title, Sweet Sins Superstars, de Platonic Games, in which players must save Musicalia from the queen of silence, using the rhythms of different musical styles, including JPop, kpop, rock, electronic dance music and house, among others.
