MADRID, 8 Sep. (Portaltic/EP) –
The application of Twitter for mobiles with operating system iOS has started testing a new feature that changes the way images and videos are displayed in the ‘feed’, which they happen to occupy the entire width of the screen.
The current design of Twitter showed images of a larger size since May, since when it stopped cropping vertical images, but these contents they do not occupy the entire width of the screen, leaving stripes on the sides–
Now, the version of the social network for mobile with system iOS has started testing since Tuesday a design with which multimedia files occupy the entire width of the screen, without leaving borders on the sides, as reported by the Twitter support account.
The new feature, which Twitter has named as ‘side.by.side tweets’, affects content among which are images, animated GIFs and videos, to which the company wants to “give them more space to shine.“
