Elon Musk applies Steve Jobs’ techniques to run six million-dollar companies at the same time

Elon MuskCEO of six multi-million dollar companies, has managed to optimize his business management by applying several techniques inspired by the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs. At the head of companies such as SpaceX, Tesla, X, xAI, Neuralink and Boring Company, Musk follows principles of efficiency that recall the strategies of the legendary Jobs.

According to the specialized portal Applesfera, one of the keys to its success is its “no nonsense policy”. Musk, like Jobs, reduces unnecessary meetings and processes to a minimum, focusing only on what provides direct value. This practice allows teams to focus on creating innovative products, leaving aside tasks that do not contribute to the end goal.

Another technique that Musk shares with Jobs is the preference for small teams. According to Musk, small work groups are more efficient, since they facilitate communication and quick decision-making. This philosophy was also applied by Jobs at Apple during the development of the iPhone, allowing for more agile advances and multiple versions of the product.

Musk also uses the Parkinson’s Law to speed up the pace of work. This theory suggests that the time available to complete a task tends to extend if strict limits are not set. Following this principle, Musk imposes extremely tight deadlines, forcing his teams to maximize their productivity and eliminate procrastination.

The sense of responsibility It is another pillar in Musk’s management. At Tesla and SpaceX, employees are encouraged to take an active role in their projects, silkscreening their names on components of the products they design like rockets or cars. This approach creates a strong sense of belonging and pride in workers, improving the quality of work performed.

Finally, one of the most difficult skills for any leader to master is the ability to delegate. Musk, like Jobs did, knows how to trust his team, delegating essential tasks to be able to manage his multiple projects. Thanks to a culture based on responsibility and efficiency, it manages to maintain control without intervening in every operational detail.
