Samsung participates in the development of an accessible and sustainable house that will be exhibited at SIMA

Samsung participates as a technological ‘partner’ in the ONCE Foundation project in which an intelligent, accessible and sustainable house has been developed and which will soon be shown at the Madrid Real Estate Exhibition (SIMA).

This fair, which will be held from May 26 to 19 in pavilion 8 of IFEMA in the capital, it will host an ONCE Foundation space designed for all visitors, regardless of their personal circumstances.

This project is named Accessible, Smart and Sustainable House since to carry it out the environmental impact of the products that compose it has also been taken into account.

this house is assisted by specialized facilitators and will incorporate all kinds of devices for use by people with special needs.

In this way, visitors to the fair they will be able to test and operate household appliances without having to touch them or verify that it is possible to open the door of the house, activate the lights or raise the blinds among other activities through a mobile device.

This initiative is part of Samsung’s commitment to accessibility within its corporate program ‘Technology with Purpose’, This year turns 10 years old.

It is a proposal with which the Korean technology manufacturer seeks to improve people’s lives breaking barriers through technology.
