Mr. Duong Tan Hien, Permanent Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People’s Committee, informed that climate change, sea level rise and land subsidence are happening faster than forecast, causing many extreme weather phenomena, affecting the livelihoods and lives of people in the Mekong Delta. He said the exploitation of water resources in the upper delta has changed the flow, reduced the amount of silt, reduced aquatic resources, and penetrated deep into the interior of the region, negatively impacting economic development. – the society of the city.

The national science and technology program (KC.16/24-30), also known as the Net Zero science and technology program, is implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology to serve the goal of Vietnam achieving net zero emissions. zero by 2050.
