MADRID, 16 Jun. (Portaltic/EP) –
The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus , which was already collaborating with Oppo in the development and research of mobile technologies, has announced that will be further integrated with Oppo but will continue to work independently.
The CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau, has referred in a statement to what he has called “a new journey for OnePlus“to continue providing more variety to its mobile catalog and to ensure the best possible experience, which the company requires”adapt as a team and as a brand“.
This measure is taken after last year OnePlus and Oppo have already decided to integrate their research and development departments to save resources in its operations, something Lau considers to have had a “positive impact”.
Therefore, OnePlus has decided “further integrate” your organization with Oppo’s, a Chinese brand that, like OnePlus, is part of the BBK Electronics conglomerate, which also owns the realme and Vivo brands, all of them with a presence in Spain.
After the integration, the brand OnePlus “will continue to operate independently”, launching its own products, organizing their own events and with the same communication channels as up to now.
