Nintendo took the hit this morning and premiered the first official trailer for “Super Mario Galaxy: the movie“This is the long-awaited sequel to the successful 2023 film, which grossed more than $1.3 billion.
During a special Nintendo Direct broadcast live, Shigeru Miyamoto and Chris Meledandri, creator of Mario and CEO of Illumination, showed the new images of this film that is based on the famous video game of the plumber brothers.

Like the game, the trailer shows scenes of Mario surfing kites, battles in zero gravity, and the return of Yoshi. The clips also have nods to the video games Super Mario Sunshine and Odyssey.
Chris Pratt voices the protagonist, Mario, while Jack Black plays Bowser, the villain. However, now the main villain will be the son, Bowser Jr., voiced by Benny Safdie, who kidnaps Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy).
