The advancement of artificial intelligence technologies has led us to begin to integrate it into our daily lives. People now use services like ChatGPT or Gemini to answer questions, find recipes, and even choose which movie to watch or plan our trips.
Enter here Flight Deals, a new tool with artificial intelligence (AI) on the Google Flights page designed so that travelers looking to find great deals no longer need to search manually for hours.
The differential of this function is that people will no longer need to try hundreds of combinations of dates and destinations. Now, they can simply describe their ideal trip in everyday language – as if talking to a friend – and Google’s AI will do the rest.
How does it work?
To start, people can search for something like: “I want a week-long vacation in February from Mexico City, looking for a good price on a non-stop flight to a city with good weather and good food.” This new tool will interpret the nuances behind that order and, using real-time data from Google Flights, quickly present relevant options from hundreds of airlines and booking sites.
The feature was initially introduced in August in the US, Canada and India, but is now available in Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and more than 200 countries, in more than 60 languages, including Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
