The next generation of cloud gaming technology

Technology giant Anvidia (NVIDIA) has announced the next generation of cloud gaming technology from the company, bringing the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 video card performance to the GeForce Now platform via the GeForce Now RTX 3080 subscription.

The new GeForce Now RTX 3080 subscription will allow access to the highest resolution and refresh rate seen to date in cloud gaming with support for up to 1440P resolution for PCs and Macs, and support for up to 4K HDR through the use of NVIDIA Shield media streams. There is also support for a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz – both on computers and smartphones, while maintaining low latency that can reach less than 60 milliseconds.

These are made possible by the most powerful gaming supercomputer (Gaming Supercomputer), consisting of GeForce Now SuperPods. Each of these units will contain over 1,000 graphics cards that provide unprecedented graphics processing power of more than 39 Petaflops. Today, the GeForce NOW service has more than 1,100 different games, with more and more games being added to the service every week.
