Devolo expands its product ecosystem with new WiFi 6 Mesh repeaters

the german company devolo AG presented this Wednesday two new repeater models compatible with the WiFi 6 standard devolo Wi-Fi 6 Repeater 3000 and devolo Wi-Fi Repeater 5400, which will arrive in Spain this fall for 99.90 and 149.90 euros, respectively.

These new products come to complete a catalog whose main objective is help users to expand their home WiFi signal “with speed, power and intelligence”, as explained at a meeting held in Madrid by the company’s Communications Manager, Marcel Schüll.

“The router is usually far from those end devices that need so much data. For this reason, sometimes it is impossible to enjoy streaming services or online games without interruptions, or make video calls without jumps”, they detail from the brand, which with these repeaters expand their solutions to improve the connection at home.

In addition to the benefits of WiFi 6, these new repeaters incorporate devolo’s Smart Mesh features, offering a consistent wireless connection across multiple access points that work together to create a home network.

In this way, users can let the devolo repeaters control the access data to the router at the touch of a button (WPS function). “The advantage is that no need to save new WiFi passwords on end devicessince all access points use the same name and password”, details the company.

From devolo they are aware that for a WiFi repeater to work optimally its position is of paramount importance. Therefore, these new products have a four-level signal indicator. So even tech novices can easily expand their home network. In addition, users have access to the devolo Home Network app (iOS, Android), which has an installation wizard.
