Messi and Argentina (and maybe Saudi Arabia in general) are infecting the customers of Partner to the mobile screens. The media group Partner is reporting today (Wednesday) on breaking consumption records for cellular surfing on the company’s network, during the World Cup broadcasts.
The record was broken during the broadcast of Argentina’s game against Saudi Arabia yesterday at 12:00 noon. This is an increase of about 25% from the average of the normal mobile browsing traffic. And this is just the beginning of the World Cup, and does not include surfing on a WiFi basis.
