PAC.MAN inspires the new special edition of OnePlus Nord 2, available from this Tuesday

OnePlus has launched this Tuesday a special edition of the new OnePlus Nord 2 inspired by the PAC-MAN video game, whose back cover has phosphorescent ink that allows the device to glow in the dark, as well as other novelties in its ‘software’ based on the Bandai Namco classic.

OnePlus launched Nord 2 5G in July, the latest addition to the company’s mid-range smartphones and this Monday it presented a special edition in collaboration with Bandai Namco Europe: OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition.

The Chinese company seeks to pay tribute to the video game both for its finish and internal operation. For this, the back cover is designed with a double layer of phosphorescent ink applied inside, which allows this ‘smartphone’ glow in the dark. In these conditions, shows the characteristic labyrinth of this video game.

In relation to its ‘software’, the phone has a revamped OxygenOS user interface including nods to PAC-MAN, such as a camera filter and custom animations, as well as the pre-installed PAC-MAN 256 game. It also allows you to access ringtones or stickers with photos by unlocking challenges.

The device has the same technical specifications as the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, such as a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with 90 HZ refresh rate, 50 megapixel main camera, 65 W Warp Charge fast charge and 4,500 mAh battery, as well as MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200-AI custom processor.

The brand has reported that OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition goes on sale this Tuesday, November 16 on the OnePlus website, with a single configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which has a price of 529 euros.
