Win at K8: The new generation gaming experience

There is no book that the gaming worlds have undergone a revolutionary change in recent years and advances in hardware are taking the gaming experience to the extreme. In order to test just how much fun it is to play on the edge, we have gathered the most advanced tools: LG’s K8 TV, ASUS ‘TUF and of course the highlight of Nvidia’s most advanced video card, the RTX 3090.

Let’s start from the end, playing at K8 resolution on a 75-inch screen with performance that maintains a high FPS rate (the rate at which the image refreshes) is exactly the way you should play games, especially shooting games and online fighting, where you as attackers get a particularly high priority.

First a review of the weapons we went into battle with: a 75-inch LG NANOCELL screen with a K8 resolution (model Nano 97), which contains tiny particles capable of absorbing light interference and returning the exact color. The TV is adapted to the needs of PC gamers with Sync Free for maximum synchronization with the video card, HGiG mode that transmits the game graphics in a way that matches the TV specifications and HDMI 2.1 input that supports high refresh rate and extremely high image.

The second tool, and no less important, is the ASUS computer, with a motherboard specially adapted for gamers: ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero. With the AMD X570 chipset built for gaming in terms of power configuration and of course PCIe 4.0 slots make room for the world’s most advanced video cards.

The third tool as mentioned is the RTX 3090 video card, which includes advanced technologies that significantly and clearly improve the game world. The three significant features that NVIDIA brings with its monstrous video card are the RTX of course, DLSS and REFLEX.

DLSS technology uses deep learning, using dedicated AI processors called Tensor Cores mounted on GeForce RTX processors, and increases the frame rate while creating a nicer, sharper game image, allowing the player to maximize graphics settings without compromising performance. Where is this thing felt? Take for example COD WAR ZONE, one of the most popular online multiplayer fighting games in the world, where every second of advantage you get over your opponent in terms of early detection is critical. Thanks to DLSS technology the game’s performance is seen to increase by 70 percent with 60 frames per second in K4 and K8 resolutions.

Another popular game that gets a 65 percent boost in performance is Doom Eternal alongside a significant graphical improvement in K4 resolution. The Fortnite game gets a 200 percent upgrade in performance via DLSS and allows you to play with RAY TRACING and still not lose the screen refresh rate and of course low latency numbers, which is critical in real-time shooting games.

This technology takes games that have already enjoyed a strong display to new heights, such as the game Red Dead Redemption which gets an average improvement of about 20 units in screen refresh rate, making the game experience smoother and more enjoyable at the highest resolutions, and until you try to hike or watch the sunset As you die of tuberculosis in K8, you do not know what you are missing.

The second most powerful technology of the card is, as mentioned, REFLEX, a service package that optimizes and measures the system’s stay time – which includes a mode to reduce the time spent in the game by up to 50 percent and also a feature that measures your stay time and monitors it. A game where I noticed a dramatic change in reaction times is the online fighting game RAINBOW SIEGE 6 – the characters run and unfold faster, and it’s much easier to aim and shoot at the right target thanks to the upgrade. When you play, especially in network games, there is nothing more important than the reaction time between the mouse click and the computer response, and this feature completely changes the rules of the game and gives you a clear advantage. Another notable feature on the card is of course the RTX, which is the ability to use RAY TRACING to get better realism in lighting, shadows and generally improve image quality. This technology has been with us for a while, but connecting it to the advanced screen, the powerful motherboard and of course the other features of the video card, manage to really understand how much the RTX affects the image quality it is powered on.

How would I sum up the time spent in the K8 worlds? Undoubtedly eye-opening – first the computer and motherboard met all my demanding requirements to maximize the graphics settings in games, without hiccups or excessive noises. There is no doubt that old games also get a serious boost from the screen quality and of course the video card, but this is most clearly seen in the new games of the year. One of the most beautiful of them, which will get a separate overview, is the “Guardians of the Galaxy” that takes you for a fun round in space and with the RTX ON, on a 75-inch K8 quality screen, it’s a really different experience and the IMMERSION (game entry) feeling is just perfect. As I also mentioned earlier most of the benefits of my gaming arrangement I have been privileged to see in competitive games and have enjoyed successes I have not seen before. There is no doubt that the future of the games is in the K8 and fortunately in terms of all the tools we need – we are on our way there.
