Microsoft promises twice the speed and the use of half the resources in the new Teams

Microsoft has announced the preview of the new Teams, the redesign of its professional communication application with which it seeks to offer up to two times faster performance using half the resources.

The new Teams is the result of the user experience collected by Microsoft, a new application based on “speed, performance, flexibility and intelligence”, as the technology company points out on the Microsoft 365 blog.

Specifically, Microsoft ensures that this service has doubled the speed while uses 50 percent less memory. To do this, the company has reviewed the platform from scratch, including data architecture, network, chat and video.

The user experience has been simplified, and improved authentication, synchronization and notification systems for use by multiple tenants and accounts. has also become “smartest” by incorporating artificial intelligence experiences, such as Copilot.

The public preview of the new Teams is currently available. Microsoft intends to release it generally by the end of the year.
