Presented Trump’s death: Twitter has suspended the Iranian Supreme leader account

The Twitter network today (Saturday) suspended the account of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This, after sharing an animated video showing the death of former US President Donald Trump.

The Khamenei Site user, though suspended, is just one of many accounts under the supreme leader’s control. Meanwhile, Iranian Twitter users have called on the social network to suspend all of Khamenei’s accounts, due to the violent content distributed there, they claim. They also believed that if Trump’s accounts could be suspended according to their content, Khamenei’s other accounts could also be suspended.

On January 13, Khamenei’s official account released an animated video showing a car on a remote control, operated remotely by an Iranian soldier, traveling on the golf course toward Trump. Then, comes a fighter jet passing over Trump, thus ending the video. The post came as revenge for the assassination of former Quds Force leader Qassem Suleimani, who was assassinated under the Trump administration. Last January, Twitter suspended another Khamenei account after even then a threat was presented against Trump.
