Garmin presents the new fenix 7 watches, with touch screen and integrated LED flashlight

Garmin has presented the new models of series smart watches fēnix 7, which feature a touch screen and integrate a multiLED flashlight to improve visibility on night rides.

As indicated by the company in an ‘online’ presentation this Tuesday, with the new fēnix 7 aims to demonstrate that “functionality and beauty are inseparable”, something that has wanted to demonstrate with three different models.

These are differentiated by their color and size. The first of them is Garmin fēnix 7S, the smallest model, features a 1.2-inch dial embedded in a 42-millimeter case.

On the back, the fēnix 7 includes a Gen 4 heart rate sensor, as well as others for features like GPS, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, thermometer or barometric altimeter.

Along with the fēnix 7 sports watches, the company has launched the EPIX (Gen 2) watches, which integrate a 1.3-inch diameter AMOLED touch screen and They are made with Gorilla Glass DX glass, as well as sapphire crystal in its most advanced models.

It is a device that comes in different colors and materials, depending on the version in question: the most basic models are made of stainless steel, while the Sapphire editions feature titanium.

These smart watches have a battery that extends its duration up to 16 days (6 days with the screen always active), although they have the option of having an energy saving mode of up to 21 days.

They have GPS – with up to 42,000 golf courses from around the world integrated into the system – and multi-band frequency and multi-GNSS support for greater accuracy. In addition, they are water resistant (10 ATM) and equipped with a memory of 16 GB, which is extended to 32GB in the Sapphire editions.

The new EPIX have a pulse oximeter, heart rate sensor on the wrist, and include respiration and stress monitoring, hydration monitoring, advanced sleep monitoring and an energy monitor that notifies the user when they are ready to go or when they need to rest.

In addition, it includes Stamina in real time, so that it performs a effort tracking to which the athlete is submitting to avoid overexertion when starting a race. This function is complemented by others such as the control of performance metrics and the monitoring of dynamics in sports such as cycling, cross-country skiing or surfing.
