LSPX-S3 wireless speaker from the Glass Sound family – SONY
MADRID, 12 Jul. (Portaltic/EP) –
Sony has introduced a new wireless speaker in the Glass Sound family, a portable computer that incorporates an organic glass ‘tweeter’ with three actuators and a light mode that simulates the lighting of a candle.
The portable speaker LSPX-S3 incorporates Advanced Vertical Drive technology, which uses three actuators that stick to the end of the organic glass and vibrates the entire glass ‘tweeter’ to spread sound in all directions.
LSPX-S3 has a 46 mm speaker that creates a balanced mid-frequency range and a passive radiator that enhances bass clarity. The Sony app includes a ‘Bass Boost’ mode that allows you to add more bass.
This speaker is compatible with Bluetooth and has LDAC technology to transmit high quality sound. The company explains in a statement that two Glass Sound speakers can be connected in stereo mode so that each one acts as a left or right channel.
The speaker features a glass design, with a silver base with a satin finish and a fabric underside. The candle light mode is a configuration option that provides subtle lighting that makes the speaker flicker like a candle, and that can sync with the music you play.
The Glass Sound speaker is portable, offering a autonomy of up to eight hours, that can be recharged through the USB type C connector that it integrates. It will be available in Europe from August, with an approximate price of 350 euros.
