Users of Messenger They have more options from this Thursday to communicate with their friends and family after the introduction of the ‘phonoticons’, short sound clips that can be sent via chat.

Phonoticons are a new feature that allows people to send short sound clips in Messenger chat. From Facebook they assure that it is the “next level” of emoji, as they explain in a statement.

People will be able to choose from a library of sound effects (crickets, applause, drum roll, or an evil laugh) Y audio clips of singers and TV shows. Each sound is represented by an emoji, and the visual emojis are maintained but introducing the sound effect.
