The ASLAN association has awarded during the gala dinner of the XXVIII edition of the ASLAN2021 Congress to the best digital transformation projects of Public Administrations, in which their contribution to the development of new services has been valued, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
The winners have been projects presented by the Municipal Transport Company of Madrid, the Public State Employment Service, the Viladecans City Council, the Ministry of Defense, the Fuengirola City Council, the Elche City Council, the Post Office, the Guadalajara Provincial Council, the Social Security IT Management, the Madrid Health Service, the Rey Juan Carlos University, the Board of Andalusia and the Government of Navarra.
For yet another year, the ASLAN Association Awards call, sponsored by Dynatrace, has achieved high participation, with 59 successful cases in competition from a total of 54 public bodies. In addition to the associated companies, 500 users have participated with their votes to choose the finalists and winners of each category.
Among the successful cases awarded, the following stand out, among others: ‘Madrid Mobility 360’, a multimodal route planner with bus occupancy control developed by the Madrid Municipal Transport Company; the COVID-19 traffic light at Viladecans Town Hall; or the IoT system ‘Smartbeach’ of Fuengirola, which carries out an intelligent management of the assessment of beaches with real-time notification to the citizen through an app.
These awards are positively valued by the public and private sectors as the initiative in which to identify, disseminate and reward successful experiences in the Spanish Public Administration in the application and use of Information and Communication Technologies.
