Horizon Forbidden West, a new installment of Guerrilla Games’ adventures starring the warrior Aloy, is currently available for PS4 and PS5 users.
Horizon Forbidden West was initially revealed in June 2020, when Sony announced it as one of the first video games for the PS5, which was released in November of the same year.
The new game is a successor to Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn, which was launched in 2017. It stars Aloy, an outlaw warrior from the Nora tribe who battles massive machines.
Aloy travels the ‘Forbidden West,’ a new zone filled by moors in which he will have to confront even bigger and more frightening machines, as well as new human tribes, in the latest episode.
In Forbidden West, the planet is being ravaged by a new sickness that threatens extinction, and storms follow one another, posing a threat to the remaining tribes. On her quest to restore order and balance to his universe, Aloy will run into old friends.
The game will have previously advanced accessibility features such as configurable difficulty levels that allow you to customize the damage received and dealt, left-handed options, and a co-pilot system that allows you to play with a second controller.
The game costs 69.99 euros in its normal version for the PS4 platform, and 79.99 euros in its new generation version for the PS5. The Deluxe edition costs 89.99 euros and includes additional content, a soundtrack, and an illustrated book.
