Want to tweet? Pay! Musk’s new plan for the X network? is soon everyone could be paying for it?

Elon Musk (52), the owner of the social network X, formerly known as Twitter, stated that the fight against bots is the key reason why this network is gradually moving to the introduction of monthly subscriptions. As he says, X has 550 million users who generate 100 to 200 million posts a day.

– This is actually an extremely difficult problem. This is probably the only and most important reason why we are switching to a small monthly payment for using the X platform. It is the only way I could think of to fight the army of bots – said Mask in a conversation with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (73).

Activating bots in large quantities is cheap, he says.

– But when it comes to paying each of them monthly, even in smaller amounts, it becomes quite expensive because the owner has to find a new payment method every time he acquires a new bot – added Musk.

Musk and Netanyahu met in San Francisco to discuss a variety of topics, including artificial intelligence, anti-Semitism and the judiciary.
