The gaming industry has flourished in recent years with record numbers of new players and players, and with this growth another market is flourishing – network programs on social platforms, which deal with the most talked about games of the best players in the world. Most gamers are already familiar with YouTube, Twitter and other social networks that allow players to upload their best clips to millions of devout followers, and now companies in the gaming world are also coming to help ease the process.
One of them is the Israeli company Oberwolf, which develops and operates a platform that allows independent developers to build and distribute applications for existing computer games – something that until recently was only possible through dedicated sites that were scattered on the web.
The company’s technology platform is already home to building apps and plugins for popular computer games including League of Legends, Dota 2, Hearthstone, Counter Strike, Fortnite, PUBG. Overwolf’s tools allow you to read and use events that occur within the game, so that widgets can respond to what is happening to the player in real time and present him with up – to – date information.
The company now introduces a new feature, OUTPLAYED, developed within Overwolf and offers users assistance in smartly capturing the salient events that happened to them during the game and uploading them to the social network. “The app interfaces with hundreds of games and provides real.time game recording functionality, with the ability to automatically mark your most notable events in the game,” says Aviram Siso, head of the company’s developer relations team. “For example, if you have a kill in a shooting game, the app knows to record 30 seconds back from the same action, and you don’t have to look for it at the end of the game.“
“We saw the trends from the streamers on the various platforms, and we knew that the field of recordings would be popular,” he adds. “Sound so you can easily create a clip and share it on any social network without the need to edit. Our community is very active, constantly adding new games to their requests.“
