Apple announced last night (Wednesday) that it will hold a virtual announcement event next week, Tuesday, March 8th. The event is expected to take place on the company’s campus in Cupertino, California, and will be broadcast live around the world.
This is Apple’s first event in 2022, and it is estimated that it will unveil a number of new products during it, including the next generation of the iPhone SE, the company’s mid-range model, which holds an affordable price tag compared to other devices. In addition, we are also expected to see a new version of the iPad Air and at least one new model of Mac.

The leaks released so far indicate that the new iPhone se is expected to be externally similar to the current model, but will include the company’s advanced A15 chip, alongside support for fifth generation (5G) connectivity. According to analyst Ming Chi Ko, this is the company’s cheapest iPhone 5G. In addition, no external changes are expected in the iPad Air devices, and it is estimated that it will support 5G connectivity.
