Twitter has entered a purchase module in its version for iOS as part of a test that will allow users to purchase products directly from the profile of the businesses and brands that follow on this platform.
The purchase module that Twitter is currently testing is in the seller’s profile, such as a carousel where product sheets are displayedos, with an image and information such as the name of the model, the category to which it belongs and the price.
This module is tested in the application for the iOS system in the United States, as the company has informed its official blog– Users would only have to click on the product that interests them to buy it without leaving the ‘app’.
This is not Twitter’s first foray into shopping features. In 2015 the company introduced a button, ‘Buy now’, along with product pages and product collections, which he eventually retired.
