Film and businessman Moshe Edri has launched the Screen iL streaming service, which will offer Israelis living abroad legal and advanced access to the leading content channels in the country.
The new service offers Israelis around the world an alternative to pirated and criminal viewing services under the guise of law, which endangers users without their knowledge in issuing orders against them on behalf of international law enforcement agencies and courts.
The service includes the leading channels in Israel, including Keshet 12, Reshet 13, the children’s channel, the Israeli cinema channel, and other local food, music and news channels, along with an innovative Catch-Up service, which allows you to watch all programs broadcast in the last seven days at the click of a button.
“We are excited to launch today the viewing experience that will bring the gospel of Israeli content to the living room of millions of Israelis around the world legally. Currently there is no similar service that legally offers one and a half million Israelis living overseas to enjoy Israeli content, both live and VOD.” Said Edri, co-founder and chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Ben Brenner, co-founder and CEO of the company, added: “Every Israeli living abroad has the need to open a TV and watch channels and content as simply as in Israel, without looking for content, without switching services and without getting involved with technology – just watch TV legally and conveniently. “This is the first global platform that received the broadcasting rights from the leading channels and producers in Israel. I have no doubt that the new service will revolutionize the level of exposure of Israeli content in the world.”
Along with the channels, the service also offers a huge VOD library of over 2,500 movies, series and programs, including the entire Israeli cinema catalog, cult films and popular films throughout all periods. Every Israeli living abroad will be able to receive the service at a fixed cost of $ 19.99 per month. The price includes watching all the content, access to an app suitable for almost any smart TV.
