The wait has been shortened: the Disney Plus streaming service will be launched in Israel in June

Prepare for SMART TV: Disney announced this morning (Tuesday) that its streaming service, Disney + will officially enter Israel on June 16. The service will be launched in Israel alongside 41 other countries, with exclusive original content and thousands of episodes and movies from the creators of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star.

According to the publication, the price of the monthly subscription to the service will increase by NIS 39.90 every month, when it will be possible to pay for an annual subscription at a price of NIS 399. Disney + subscribers will have access to high quality viewing for up to four devices simultaneously, an unlimited number of downloads for up to ten devices and the option to set up to seven different profiles, including a child profile, allowing easy and friendly navigation of age-appropriate content.

Disney has even announced that under the Star Entertainment category, subscribers will be able to watch titles such as the action-packed movie “Release Guy,” starring Oscar-nominated Ryan Reynolds, as well as the series “The Simpsons” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” National Geographic titles will include, among others, the series “The World According to Jeff Goldblum,” whose first 12-episode season follows Jeff who embarks on an entertaining and inspiring journey. In each episode of the series, Jeff pulls a string of deceptively familiar objects to unravel a world of incredible connections and fascinating science and history.

In addition, the service will offer original and exclusive content, along with movies, drama series, documentaries, comedies, animation and content in short format. The service will offer access to the long history of Disney content on film and television.
