There is always but: Samsung announced during the launch event, which took place last night, a particularly interesting and relevant collaboration for all mobile users. As mentioned, the company has revealed that WhatsApp will allow you to transfer your chat history between operating systems, thus effectively confirming a rumor that has been around for a long time. However, at least for now, this is not available on most devices.

According to Samsung, the first devices that will allow the transfer of WhatsApp content from iOS to Android devices are the Z Flip 3 and the Z Fold 3 that were announced last night. It was also reported that the feature, which is expected to delight many users, will reach other devices of the company running the Android 10 operating system. The transfer will be made via a USB cable and not via the Internet, and the content that will be transferred includes all the content you transferred on WhatsApp.

Last April, it was reported on the WABetaInfo website that WhatsApp is examining the issue of transferring call history between iPhones and Android devices. In the leaked image then, the app is displayed inside an iPhone device and allows to transfer the call history to Android. To use an unreleased feature, WhatsApp seeks to update to the latest version, both on iPhone and Android, in order to avoid compatibility error in the Android or iPhone version.
