Opera has released a full-featured commercial virtual private network (VPN) service for Android phones that covers all device connections, even those made outside of the browser.
A virtual private network (VPN) It’s an encrypted Internet connection that adds an extra layer of privacy and security to users’ online activities, protecting things like their identity and device’s IP address.
You already have a free VPN service from Opera that is limitless and subscription-free, requires no login or additional plugins, and can be used in a private browsing window.
Thus, VPN Pro, the company’s newest solution, complements the previous one by protecting the complete device rather than simply connections made through the browser.
In this instance, the premium version of the Opera VPN is in charge of routing and encrypting connections made through any Android application or service.
Up to six Android devices can be secured with VPN Pro, which is also incorporated into the Opera browser for Android. It provides access to 3,000 private network servers in 33 countries and includes online customer assistance.
This is a paid alternative that was offered in a beta phase prior to the official one. It is part of the Opera beta version and may be purchased for 2.69 euros per month or 5.49 euros per quarter.
Users who want to test the VPN service beforehand can do so for seven days for free.
