The Airports Authority confirmed  that the site is experiencing a multi-user cyber attack (DDoS). The announcement stated that “there is no damage or intrusion into the operational systems of the Airports Authority.” The attack was carried out by a group of pro-Iranian hackers called the ALtahrea Team, who are retaliating against the assassination of Qassem Suleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandes by the United States about two years ago.

The publication in their telegram account quoted Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, in which he spoke of launching a cyber war and warned of what was to come.
