Over the weekend (Friday.Saturday), Apple issued a call for repair for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, which suffer from malfunctions in the receiver (front audio component) during a call. The company’s announcement states that a very small percentage of the devices on the market may suffer from this problem, and these are models manufactured between the months of October 2020 and April 2021.

Apple has called for users who experience such a glitch to go to its authorized service centers, or Apple stores, for a free repair. The technology giant further stressed that the repair plan in question is relevant only to these models, and not to iPhone 12 Pro Max devices and mini models. Also, it is only about fixing this fault – and not extending the warranty to the device.

The official laboratories in Israel (including DCS and the Idigital network) have not yet submitted their official response on the subject.
